As a foal he was still trying to grow into his legs, their long spindly forms making him clumsy as all darn sin. He often would stumble or trip until he finally grew into his legs at the age of three. After that he started to work on looking more like a "stag", going and working on his strength and stamina to build up muscle slightly. He still is slightly lean, but he continues to gain a bit more muscle as the days go by. He does have partial deafness though in his left ear. It sounds like he's underwater but will sometimes tilt his head towards the right to hear better. Healers believe that because of being born that way his right ear has stronger hearing than his left. He will never be "tall" since he also has stunted growth to an extent, and will only reach a height of 10hh when fully grown. Although it bothers him early on in his life he will learn to accept it and learn that's what makes him "special" in his own way.

"Kindness is better than salt." He will be the first one to tell you this. He's found that over the years, being a kind and a gentleman to others has worked more in his favor than being grumpy or angry at others. He has views on certain things, but even if he doesn't like an idea he will find a way to say it without any sort of conflict forming through his own words. He is quite serious though when it comes to being there for his family. He's loyal and loving to those who earn his trust and love, although he will make it seem like others have said things. Those he is loyal to or is loving to are a select few, and those few had better understand how rare that is to have earned from him. Aaryan is also a secret romantic. He knows that one day he will need to fight for does, but he would rather find at least that one doe who can hold his heart and be his forever love. He won't mind having a harem one day, and already has decided with foals that no matter the gender or color, no matter the rank or mother, and no matter who the father is, he will always love and treat them like his own. Papa is the best! He's an officer in the royal guard, how is that not cool! Of course... dad didn't come around too often. He was either sleeping when around or off at work before the colt even woke. Yet he still does love his father, although he firmly refused to follow in his footsteps with joining the guard. Sure he's a lesser royal now, a Duke, but he can't but help thinking that he has a different purpose. He's not sure what his father thinks of him, and lately he's seen even less of him since his mother left his side. He was around in his life more as a fawn then he is now as a stag just coming into himself. He wishes his father would just visit once in a while though...
Lady Iliana (Mother)
His beloved mother. He loves her dearly as could be although they weren't ever the closest. In fact, his love isn't as strong for her as he wishes, yet it's mostly because of her. She's not like she used to be, and her mental state makes him stay farther away from her. Now that she's with the new king he sees her even less, and although it wasn't her choice, he still hates the fact of she's with Him and not his father. She deserves a stag who will love her, not some fool who rules with only his interests in mind! Yet even with everything, he loves his mother and will think only good things about her. He didn't mind when she was with the Ex-Prince but the King is a different story... At least Donn loved her...

This young doe happened to be met in the most unlikely of places! He'd seen her about the royal glades yet never was able to bring himself to say anything to her. After all, he was simply a lesser royal while she was a lady! Turns out that appearances can be deceiving since she's a commoner living with a lady! Aaryan can't help but smile when he thinks about her, remembering the bright chirp of a singbird voice, of how she held the notes softly in the dead of night, of the tenderness and gentle way she moved. Even after a brief meeting, he feels different. Was she the cause of it...?
History:
761-766
He was born out of a stag helping a doe from another stag's lust. A gentle moment taking the two over as the guard walked her back to her glade. From those few moments, Aaryan was conceived. Born into the world in the year 761, he seemed like the perfect dark colored foal for a Glenmore couple. That is, until his small size was noted and his hearing put into question when he didn't answer instantly. He lived a normal life though, knowing both his parents who loved him equally. His life was peaceful, that is until his mother had her heart broken and was forced to leave another broken heart with Donnaghan and then put with King Rafe. He didn't see much of his mother when his half brother Finnegan was born and then more so when she was taken by the King for another year. Even though he learned to live with his deafness in his left ear, he still felt like the odd one out. Because of said deafness, even partial, he could easily rule out being in the guard. He didn't hold anything more than a lesser royal title, and when younger had long legs that didn't fit his body too swell. As he grew older he began to train his body to gain muscle, finally growing into his legs as slowly but surly he built on the muscle within his limbs. At the beginning of 766 he started to grow his first rack, the feeling foreign yet exciting for the young colt becoming a stag. Soon he would fight for does, showing his strength as well as brawn, hoping to find the right doe he can give his heart to fully and completely.
767-Present
Aaryan still doesn't have a harem, much to his dismay. It seems that most does are put off by his issues that he can't fix. Many of them get annoyed when on his left side and he didn't answer, and since he's shorter than other stags they turn away. The poor boy can't seem to catch a break either with finding out what to do in his life. He feels like he's failed his herd, failed both his parents, and failed his own heart. He's begun to wander the glades, going at night to the edge of a river or lake and finds that he's enjoyed a new talent. Singing. He's got a beautiful voice, perfect for him and he can't help it at all. Although he'll never show that talent to anyone. He doesn't want to be found girlish along with his other issues! On top of everything King Rafe has gone to war with Haven!
But he does admit to himself one thing: Each night he's lately heard an angel singing nearby...but where?

-Audience in the Night -- Sneaks off to sing to himself one night near the river only to hear the most beautiful voice on the planet.
