Speculative design for the Troublemaker class Limited Offensive Unit appearing in The Hydrogen Sonata.

The physical appearance of the ship is not described, but I have extrapolated from a few details. The LOU Caconym describes its type as 'of that generation of 'Limited' that classes as nominatively camouflaged. We out-everything earlier GOUs.' It is also faster than a GSV, and the class is alternatively dubbed VFP (Very Fast Picket), a label previously used only for ex-ROUs. In summary, the Troublemaker appears to be as well-armed as a General Offensive Unit, and as fast as a Rapid Offensive Unit. I therefore picture it as something like a Murderer class with the extra engines of the Torturer. The Caconym is uncrewed, which is consistent with the trend (in in-universe chronology) toward fewer humans on Culture warships (see also the Abominator), so I don't show an obvious accommodation section.
