Oh hey! A flashy ad for a toy! What fun!
Anyways, I found these pictures quite fun to make. (though they were a bit time consuming)
There were also… many layers involved with creating them.
Honestly, this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I feel Syncopite gets a lot of undue hate. I’ll admit, it doesn’t contribute as much as the other Celestials, but it still has a nice look and a clear part to play in the song.
Also there is a part two, but it's not appropriate for dA, so I'll leave a link here , but be aware, the next part targets an older demographic. (tl;dr: Synco-brator)

Ok I didn't think I would find as many artists in the msm community, as you being the 21 msm artist I found here (referring to "good" artists).
I love how some text saying "GLOW IN THE DARK" is covering something that would make dirty minded people go crazy
(I can control myself though, others will burst out with different "varying"* reactions).
*Reactions:
Reaction 1 - The person laughs hysterically
Reaction 2 - Something you probably learned in health class
Reaction 3 - Wishing they didn't have a dirty mind and stares at the screen (or whatever they saw)

I would say syncopite gets most of "hate" from that fact that it wasn't needed, had a very short role and puts the last part mostly off-tune. It was a letdown to anyone who was unfortunate enough to have it as their celestial. it looks cool though so I'll give it that.

Still, the way people whine about it as if it were the worst thing ever gets grating. I can't be the only one to find it annoying. (I also thought the hate for Tring was overdone.)
Honestly, I'm still wrapping my head around when people decided it was cool to bash on things they're getting for free. I mean, what's the point?
Besides if anyone really cares that the fact that they got this for their birthmonth, that's just stupid.
There are thousands of things applied to birthmonths, yet you don't hear me complaining that I turned out to be Capricorn (Honk), or that my birthstone is a Garnet, or that I'm a rabbit on the zodiac, or that my flower is a carnation. (I'm rambling, but you see my point. Birth month means nothing, yet people fuss about it like it somehow matters.)

Tring is one my most favourite monsters, and it's hate literally makes no sense to me; "oh wow it only plays one note", "oh wow they gave a triangle to a 4-element, man it's now the worst monster". It is like they never heard of the triangle before or the word irony (one of the reasons people bash on cloud island Entbrat) it gets annoying sometimes.
For free? yes, available anytime? think about it: It only comes in one specific MONTH every year, and you can only get it through rng or a giant gem price. Syncopite only plays 4 lines (i think), is basically deedge, is another percussionist (3 was enough) and sets the finale's rythm off alongside galvana; You only live so long, would you really want this as something that you only have so many chances to get?
They don't to you, but they do to other people as their opinion, i surely wouldn't want that as what represents the month i was born in.

Y'know, many people had similar complaints about Plixie when it first came out. They said that it ruined the sound, played for a shorter part than the others, and sounded just like Furcorn. But over time, many people admitted to coming around to appreciating it. It gave the song a pronounced vocal part that divvied the song
I personally feel that way about Syncopite. Its part is short, but I think it comes in at just the right time. Maybe you don't. Maybe the majority of MSM fans would fight me over this, but it's what I think.

When plixie came out, people complained mostly because it's sound was really weird when it had nothing else to play along with or harmonize with; But when attmoz and hornacle came plixie's role became more apparent. People came to like it then. I really don't see how anyone is going to appreciate syncopite due to it's many problems, It had great potential with it's awesome design and the general idea of the element of crystal only to have it wasted on beats starhenge didn't need.
If you like syncopite, that's great, I like it too, but at the end of the day the fact mostly remains that it wasn't needed in starhenge

I suppose... But my point was mostly that if people could come around to like Plixie, than they probably could've learned to appreciate Syncopite as well.
And if you feel Syncopite being a percussion monster is the problem, just remember how people felt when their precious instrumental island suddenly got an "awkward" vocal monster. That "Starhenge didn't need it" argument was used pervasively back then.
And while you may feel the reason that this situation is different than that one is obvious, to me, it seems odd that the Syncopite hate hasn't blown over by now. (Sorry, I realize this sentence may have been confusing to read.)
And hey, I'll admit, I didn't really like Syncopite much at first. I didn't hate it, mind you, but I did feel it lacked potential like you said. However, Vhamp was the monster that made me appreciate its inclusion. I still felt like its part was kind of short, but I did feel it had a clear part to play in the song. (Just a personal opinion)
Look, as much fun as this has been, I think I'll stop arguing now. You've made some good points, and certainly have a leg up on maturity compared to the rabble I've seen. I've seen your art; it's pretty good, though I'd suggest investing in a proper scanner. (you'd be surprised how well they work) Take care, buddy.

It's surprising that with the internet people now have time to literally think before they speak but waste it on nonsense and childish crap, I try to generally avoid that. But due to my poor conversation skills I tend to have my moments.
Yeah thanks, my tablet is the worst at taking pictures and I really want/need one. Your art is while questionable in certain aspects (especially your site) pretty good as well.
