Description
In ancient times, when their people would come under threat Rabbis would use powerfull magic to bring life to a protector. Made from mud and clay, Golems are incredibly strong and will do any task given to them in the most straight forward way. Golems will go rouge if a task is too much for them, or if they aren't given anything to do for long periods of time. Golems are brought to life by writing the word emet on the forehead, and removing it is the only way to stop one. Golems are rarely created as it takes a huge part of the creator's life energy to make one, and the knowledge to make is nearly forgotten.Related content

Shame there is not enough movies with this guy. I know there is a new one out where like a little kid I think is the monster. But nothing will top the Hammer Horror one just called "IT!" Stupid title honestly. Why not just call it The Golem. You did that with your freaking Gorgon movie!!

You think that there would be more films about the Golem. I read a book early in the year called the Tribe, it's about a group of elderly Jewish men using a Golem to murder anyone they think is a threat to them. its a really good read and would make for one hell of a movie.
IT isn't a Hammer film, it was made a company called Gold Star Films Ltd. It was a one-off, that was made to look and feel like Hammer as much as possible.
There is a new film about the Golem made this year. It's about a greaving mother who makes one in the image of her dead son. I haven't seen it yet but does look good.
