Description Here's something I cooked up yesterday, and I thought I posted it but I guess I didn't. So here it is. I don't understand why people want Kong to be 250 ft (up to Godzilla's chest), that scaling sucks. It's terrible, I think Kong would be best at Godzilla's snout. And Kong should have no powers whatsoever! He should be brute strength, and here's an example of that. He's smashing the ground so hard it's not only creating cracks in the ground, but it's causing Godzilla to loose his balance. Those would be great attacks to make up for powers. Him roaring so loud it breaks windows, even causing Godzilla to go deaf for a couple minutes. Him smashing his hand into the ground, twisting it, pulling out a gigantic boulder and throwing it at Godzilla's face or chest, causing him to go down. Those are the kind of things I want to see Kong do,  not be some pathetic tiny midget chimp hiding behind buildings and jumping on Godzilla's back. No he should be portrayed as an equal match for Godzilla. Like we should see him tank many hits from the atomic breath with nothing more then a few burnt furs, and get hit with Godzilla's massive tail, the same kind of hit that killed the male Muto, causing his arm to fall off and shit. That is what I want to see in Godzilla vs Kong 2020. So yeah a 310 ft tall, very buff Kong would great. Comment what you think below!

Personally, I like the electric powers. Though Kong should start out without them. I don't really care about the height debate, and honestly I'm sick of it.

" I don't understand why people want Kong to be 250 ft (up to Godzilla's chest), that scaling sucks."
Because The original King Kong vs. Godzilla had Kong Shorter than Godzilla. It basically the David and Goliath size scale Like all the crossover been. Frankenstein is taller than the Wolf man,Jason Voorhees is taller than Freddy Krueger and Superman Taller than Batman.

Basically it a fight between a gorilla ans Bear-like Lizard. But Godzilla is the big all power Brute strength but Kong is the runner and strategist. Both are smart but it depends who used their brain faster. sure it would be make sense he should at least be eye level, even some people are saying they're only so much you can stretch the imagination for having a mammal being in 300ft scale. Godzilla excuses is at least he came from the ocean and their possibility for larger creature to exist in theory. Yes It fictional but It hard to used the "Suspension of disbelieve" all the time without people out their calling into question.

So Kong could used his strength to create earthquakes but Godzilla atomic breath is no joke and while Kong in the new trailer seem to be somewhat immune to fire(Or at least what appear to be). Atomic fire is a different story. If you Read 'Godzilla:Awakening' Prequel Comic, This Godzilla not only live for million of years or survive a H-bomb(Hydrogen Bomb) Castle Bravo but He Took Point blank a meteorite in the back of the head, live deep near the volcanic crust of the earth and his atomic breath is almost in the heisei bream blast when at full power.

Kong need a lot to take on to compete with This Godzilla. Sure Kong could be a little faster to Climb On Godzilla back or hurt Godzilla knee for Kong to get a shot in. Godzilla is still smart than people give credits for.
EDIT: Basically Kong is faster but Godzilla is slow. Kong have muscle but Godzilla is all muscle(Like a Grizzly bear this design is base off of.)

I'm not trying to argue just give a sound reason why people are think the way it is.

Yeah but if you're going to bring up the 1962 King Kong vs Godzilla, they should just stick with that scaling. That's basically what i've been saying. Not an extremely small Kong, they should be portrayed as equals. And that comic to me is honestly hard to believe as canon to the movie. Simply because although he survived all those things, he couldn't handle the two Mutos without Ford saving him. If they go with a 310 ft Kong who's brute strength and all muscle like Godzilla, iI'd really like to see him go on all fours for extra speed.

Yeah but if you're going to bring up the 1962 King Kong vs Godzilla, they should just stick with that scaling. You can't change what already established in this Universe. We can only hope they make a reasonable scaling size for this universe. When I brought it up the 1964 scaling I was meaning to implied that used that but adding up to the hight that is established in this Legendary/Warner Bros Monster universe. To simply ignoring the 350ft Godzilla by shrink him or Changing Kong high to 300 range without Reasonable backing is lazy script writing at best. The best thing the writers should do is try to used what they already have and used it to the best of their abilities without contradicting each other.

And that comic to me is honestly hard to believe as canon to the movie. Simply because although he survived all those things, he couldn't handle the two Mutos without Ford saving him.

Godzilla was having trouble in the comic too with two Shinomura(Swarm of Death) attack him both too. It was only with the help with Castle Bravo and Him destroying the first Shinomura did he Actually won against them.

To be fair Godzilla has been double team before in other films like:"Mothra Vs.Godzilla(1964),Terror Of MechaGodzilla(1974),Godzilla vs. Mothra(1992),Godzilla 2000,GMK(Godzilla,mothra and King Ghidorah:Giant Monsters All Out Attack 2001) and Godzilla:Tokyo SOS". Each of those film where Godzilla was gang on by two monsters. Only a few times did some human help him doing few of those battle.

If they go with a 310 ft Kong who's brute strength and all muscle like Godzilla, I'd really like to see him go on all fours for extra speed.

That would be at least something but the new trailer doesn't show anything that this Kong Run On all four. He might but we don't know. But based on both the Interview with the director and Second Trailer, it unlikely that might be it.

With Kong, the movie takes place in the 70's, so 40 years seems like a lot of time to grow.

Yeah! An even fight is what the more logical fans want, myself included.
