kingkong19100 — (Proposed Theory) How King Kong Meets Godzilla

Description This is a theory I came up with a few months ago on my insta of how King Kong and Godzilla meet and why they'd fight. Basically a Muto arises on Skull Island and Kong, doing what he does by defending his island, kills her with relative ease. If we did get this on screen we'd see what force and power he has, and so Godzilla arrives on the island to kill this thing but sees it's already been slain by Kong. Godzilla is angered by this because it was his prey and Kong is mad because this is his island, and in a battle of dominance these two battle it out on the island. Whatever happens, the battle isn't over as Kong swims to New York (no he doesn't get electric powers from the storm) and sees the destruction that Godzilla leaves. People are dying and whatnot and Kong doesn't like this, but Godzilla doesn't recognize he's killing all these innocent humans, but Kong does. He does his best to not kill people as he makes his way over to Godzilla and he makes Godzilla follow him. At a bay, he waits. As Godzilla comes over Kong dodges a few hits and throws Godzilla into the water, but Godzilla grips Kong's throat and Kong is plunged into the water with Godzilla. We get a spectacular underwater battle and then Kong comes out of the water, reminiscent of the 62 film. He quickly scrambles back into the city, and everyone thinks he's retreating. But Godzilla comes out of the water and follows. Serizawa explains Kong isn't retreating, but is making a trap. Again, like 62. Then as Godzilla is in this abandoned city, trying to sniff out Kong's hiding spot, Kong swing off a building (like here: www.canmag.com/images/front/mo… ) and gets Godzilla in the jaw. Against all odds and everyone doubting Kong will stand a chance, he holds his own. As Godzilla get his footing, we see Kong land on his feet and we pan up to see him with a badass look (like in the KKVG animation on YouTube by Zizmaut). He breathes in and out and we get the sickest battle in a Godzilla movie yet. I want the battle to be very untelling of who'd win, where on minute Godzilla is winning and Kong the next. I posted this theory a while ago and have seen it on a few Godzilla forums like Toho Kingdom, Battle Vine, and that Godzilla Movies forum, so I'm glad to see it's getting some attention. Let me know what you guys think!

Almost forgot, stage by DrifterDX with added trees. Kong and Muto models were at TF3DM and Godzilla was by NeoUltimo from Godzilla VS.

Probably not how the movie will go but interesting idea and definitely a more solid theory than some of the garbage theories I've seen about this movie and the MonsterVerse in general.

How did you add those trees in Drifter-Dx 's map?

I'm curious about that too.

My guess, imported from another stage?
Not that I have a problem with adding more vegetation to a stage just as long as credit is given where it's due

Yeah sorry about that I almost forgot to not give credit! But basically I just imported a different tree model and placed it where I found fit. And I duplicated it, changed up the size, duplicated that one and changed the size, then selected all three and would duplicate them and place them wherever and so on and so forth. So there's like 150 trees in this photo, my little MacBook Pro crashed like 4 times.

Yeah, that happens when too many meshes are in a single stage. Which is why some games use a picture of a tree as a texture on a flat 2 piece polygon; to reduce lag. Think Minecraft flowers or grass how they work.

Anyway great job on the pic, nice use of the gorilla model from ark.i've told people before it makes sense reworking it into a Kong model

Thanks! I've used pictures of trees but for this particular image I thought it would be more fitting to use actual models of trees. Also the Kong model in this picture is actually the model from the PC King Kong game. I am, however, using the Ark gorilla model for my King Kong vs Gigan animation I'm working on, where there's some pictures I have of on my gallery. Thanks for commenting tho!

I see.

Pc king Kong? From 2005 or Is there a bootleg 2017 game I haven't heard about?

Interesting, with snake151's (cough) model I presume? Nah, I'll wait to see the finished project. That way I'll be surprised!

Yeah from the official game. And the Gigan model I'm using is the PS4 one. Thanks for saying you'll watch it!

I see.
Ps3 not ps4, to avoid confusion and unecessary pestering of Ultimo.

Sure, just post the link in a status update.

Ah PS3 my bad. Is that why Spacegodzilla hasn't been ripped? Because he's not a part of the PS3 roster? Like I don't know if he is or isn't

Drifter-Dx In reply to kingkong19100 [2017-10-08 19:38:17 +0000 UTC]

Yes, the models we have are from the ps3

Rodan, anguirus, spacegodzilla, mecha king ghidorah, battra larva/imago and Godzilla 1964 are Ps4 exclusive and at this time no one has the ability to rip/extract models from the ps4

Ah that's why. I thought G14 was also a PS4 Exclusive so I got kind of confused there. But man I wish we were able to get those models, especially Rodan, Anguirus, and SpaceGodzilla. Hopefully we'll find out how in the future!

Technically yes and no he was only available to play in king of kaiju mode on the ps3 as a free dlc or beat him in the final stage of story mode

Me too, I think it won't be until 2 or 3 years later

I added other tree models. I dont work with MMD but I have an importer so I can add and edit stuff with the models, but yeah for this I just removed the original tree models and added these ones.

kingkong19100 In reply to MyLittleGZilla [2017-10-07 04:20:00 +0000 UTC]

It's always been on TF3DM. I dont know why but I think it got removed, as did the other Kong and Godzilla models.
