Adam's parents weren't the best, and he ended up running away with his baby sister when he was about 7. Being the little kid he was, he managed to find an orphanage and bring both him and his sister into safety. They spend most of their life in there until they were old enough to leave. Adam eventually ended up working in a fucked up circus, training birds of prey, and literally mass murdering people in there with the rest of the circus crew.
