just a question, what colour do you use to shade??

Ah thanky!
i use a really dark blue color, and instead of using the 'shading' layer I do 'multiply' and then set it on around 60% to begin with, after I'm done I look at if it needs to get darker or lighter
when I'm done with that shiny layer, I sometimes make another layer with the 'shade' and just add some shading on places where it looks better
when done with the shading I use the lumi layer and stuff and do the lighting with the color I use for light in the background and stuff!

No problem!!
But ahh, okay, what an awesome idea actually ;o;
I was just wondering, cause yeh, wasn't sure!!
Do you use any particular brush? Cause I tend to use the water colour tool to make it soft shading

I usually just use the pen to start with, and then make it with the water color tool a little softer, usually not too much though
and for little things I usually only keep the pen
