More Bloodshed from the world of WarHammer 40K!I am fortunate enough to visit the Black Templars once more, cause I just can't get enough of the Space Marines. Another cover for "Damnation Crusade" Issue #3 by Boom! Studios.
This time I wanna capture up close, that hatred the Black Templars have over their most wretched of foes, the Chaos Space Marines. The Templars always prefer the melee approach, relishing in the death screams of those that dare defy and betray the Emperor. Rock On Black Templars!!

I think that the face-crushing really gives that personal feeling of hatred that you were going for, as if the marine doesn't even want to see the visage of a former brother-in-arms that betrayed teh Emperor. Of course, the Templar needs his badass powersword to actually kill the bastard.
