More Bloodshed from the world of WarHammer 40K!I am fortunate enough to visit the Black Templars once more, cause I just can't get enough of the Space Marines. Another cover for "Damnation Crusade" Issue #3 by Boom! Studios.
This time I wanna capture up close, that hatred the Black Templars have over their most wretched of foes, the Chaos Space Marines. The Templars always prefer the melee approach, relishing in the death screams of those that dare defy and betray the Emperor. Rock On Black Templars!!

I can nearly hear the BT Marine say "Die" over and over again. This is so dramatic. The piercing sword, the broken ceramite, the desperation of the chaos dude, everything adds to the vicious scene.

This picture is something else, really. I like your attention to detail such as the cut on the Black Templar's helmet near the eye that glows with the red light as well. I think you've also hit on how unmerciful the Space Marines are with the metal fingers digging into the face flesh of the dying Chaos Marine. Very well done.
