Description
"Koum Kapi" means "gate of sand".Koum Kapi, Chania, Crete, Greece. July 2008.
Kodak Tri-X 400 b&w negative film, developed in Rodinal (1+50 solution). Scan from negative.
UPDATE : updated the previous version with this one which is a better scan and ultimately better post processing. This is a direct resize from the image actually used in a recent photo exposition I took part.

Most of these kids were either living in the nearby houses or their parents were sitting at the numerous cafes/restaurants that are all over that place. The beach is pretty close so I don't think they would have a problem going there!

Thank you very much!! I had a few shots from the same scene (nowdays I seem to try to "work the situation" rather than take a single shot) and it exactly that ball in the air that made choose this one.
