So I've been keeping tabs on the fat grand order anime, mainly because I really like Ishtar Rin's design, and she does feature a lot in it. But yea the 12th episode goes to the underworld. Now in the original Babylonian myth about when Ishtar goes down to the underworld to retrieve her dead husband, each time she passes through a gate of the underworld, she'd have to give up a piece of clothing on her. The anime however decided to go a different route for each time Ishtar goes through one of those gates: She shrinks! I mean conisdering the original legend, i can see why it was changed to something more humorous. What just cause it's Japan doesn't mean everything they make has to be perverted ya know.
I like to think Rin read the original script and the myth beforehand and got mad and made the writers change it up.

Probably for the best, the Ishtar plot was done in the youtube Carmillia web series (it's a long story in how it's related). Was rather dark!

the rest of the legend doesn't go well for Ishtar either, she does get like 16 deadly diseases at once there too, we're just lucky the fate anime is being more comical with ishtar by just zapping and shrinking her.
