Description
The first WIP of my meta knight cosplay I'm making for Megacon this year.
it's showing the progress on the sword and the 3D printed armor pieces, first up being the shoulders. 3D printing them makes it easier on me to get something looking really good and durable, on the downside that it may take more than a few tries to get it to print all the way..... it gets harder down the line, my Dad and I were lucky this one only took one try to print out..
comment and enjoy

If it doesn't print all the way and from what the print looks like there I would try turning the nozzle temperature up.
Also if you're printing in ABS I would recommend PLA, much easier to stay on the bed.

Hmm, good advice, will probably try that later on.
We're using PLA, yea.
Right now we're printing the mask flat rather than vertically, it's slightly smaller but should work better.
The only thing that's a minor issue in the beginning as of right now is that the plate isn't staying at 60c, but falls by near half due to some wiring issue; After a few hours and the printer gaining height though it's not too bad.
