Mario kart tour is really bringing out the character skins now, one of the next new ones is for Daisy this time: Fairy Daisy. After seeing her design and some of her kart tricks, well I had to draw her.

Ever since I saw this the first time, I've drawn parallels between Daisy in this outfit and Peony from Fire Emblem Heroes.

So we have a barefoot princess within Mario canon and outside the Sonic crossovers (if the spin-offs count as canon)

well in most games skins like these aren't completely canon, but in a sense it's nice to see alternative designs for characters. But yea you can basically get a glimpse of Daisy's toes on a teeny weeny phone screen xp
