with the newest pokemon forms being released, "mega evolutions" I honestly found this idea incredibly hard to comprehend. So each pokemon here represents a different thought that went through my head with these mega pokemonAbsol: why... why do i have wings, i look ridiculous! this is so stupid
Blaziken: now that i mind having this at all, but seriously could they have thought of a better name for this other than "megablaziken" for F#%^'s sake i sound like megaman ulgh
Mawile: oh god WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! why am I a fairy type now! and why do i have 2 mouths it looks so wrong!!! all the dragon types will hate me now why gamefreak why!!!!!!!

I'm so fluffeh, so very fluffeh now, I'm happyLucario: I feel its trying too hard. these megaevolutions make us all try and look more complex than we really are... not sure what to think... but... this could be my ticket to smash bros 4 with megalucario as my new final smash.. hmmmm

They DID intend to keep him in Brawl, but constraints had them take him out. Like too many characters from that franchise, Lucario having a similar moveset, Lucario being the bigger current star in the series with the movie and gen 4, just over time and data constraints that made them pick and choose.
I heard that Toon Zelda, Toon Shiek, Toon Link, Doctor Mario and Roy were all cut as well, the first four most likely due to over representing their franchises.
But with MegaEvolutions and Mewtwo being the latest movies tar, its VERY likely he'll return, along with Lucario as well.XD

well lucario and mewtwo would probly be clones, so if anything I think it'll be either one or the other.

They weren't afraid to do clones when they had Pichu, Toon Link, Doctor Mario, Falco, Wolf, or Luigi. And just as Luigi isn't an exact Mario clone, neither was Lucario an exact Mewtwo clone in Brawl. The Starfox group ARE almost identical, yet they all made it into Brawl, so it might not be a problem in this game. Lucario actually fights quite different then Mewtwo when you compare them. The most notable similarity was their ball attacks, with Aura Sphere being almost identical to Mewtwo's Shadowball.
And I doubt Pokemon Trainer Red will return, since while great, he was there mostly due to the remakes of FRLG. People might be happier with a NEW trainer with another region's starters if they make another fighter like him at all. And just think, if its Ruby/Brendan, then that will just PROVE a long awaited RSE remake is in the future, as well as show off MegaBlaziken(and the others of the other 2 hoenn starters get mega forms). He'll, Blaziken even getting a Mega form in the FIRST PLACE might be on obvious hint to the remakes.XD

yea, it may be that the starfox crew are alike in some ways but rather different *fox being faster, falco having more useful B moves, wolf having more power and differing Bs*
i also hope there will be a new pokemon trainer, with any luck either from XY or BW.
I'd be happy seeing either
chikorita, quilava and feraligator
any of the 3rd gen evos or basic will work as fighters (quite likely torchic, grovyle and swampert)
turtwig, prinplup and infernape
snivy, dewott and emboar
or whatever the 6th gens will bring.

Yep. But other then that, which in itself are only minor differences to begin with, everything else is essentially the same. I mean, they even all have the same Final Smash for crying out loud!DX
If they do have a trainer, it will most likely be the gen 3 one. Has the added bonus of playing as MegaBlaziken.XD

don't assume that we're stupid, just because it only boosts them as forms in battle and is not forever does not mean its not called evolutions in the game. it may not be a full one but it is kinda like a temporary boost for pokemon

First of all: No one really wants PokΓ©mon to be the same game every single damn generation. Game Freak is at least being creative with what they're doing, trying to give a new breath of fresh air to the games...

I like Mawile's form. though this one seems mroe worried about being a fairy than having to mouth hair things.
It's not just a fluffy Ampharos, it's a fluffy DRAGON Ampharos. Honestly, I would have prefered it got fairy type instead, but I ain't going to complain about one of my favorite Pokemon becoming part dragon. And becoming fluffy like it's previous forms.
I agree with Blaziken, cool concept, crappy name.

There is an "explanation". Ampharos original name is Denryu which could mean electric current or electric dragon (japanese word games again). Ryu is a suffix used to describe dragons, so it "has" some logic to it. The long neck and body is similar to the eastern dragon, so adding the fluffyness makes it more "eastern-dragon-like".

Also, If all the info about it is right. Mawile should not be freakign out. It will get acess to the ability Huge Power. An ability limited to the marill line that DOUBLES ATTACK POWER! Mawile will become a monster in it's mega form.
