so mario kart dlc news metro.co.uk/2014/08/26/mario-k⦠link is going to be a racer, but aparently no zelda or ganondorf will be playable.well there are two major reasons why neither are playable:
first off, unlike link who's incarnations are relatively the same outfit, both zelda and ganondorf change their designs in every game.
zelda herself has gone from being a redhead to blonde (many times) to brunette, and even changed dress colors from blue to pinks to reds to purple and white. just no set zelda design, same with ol ganondorf, he constatly changes appearance though relatively the same.
and reason two is seen here, i don't think zelda is comfortable wearing the motorcycle attire. she's too used to royal garbs and the occasional armor that something skintight like this bugs her. well that's what i think anyways.

cause you know its mario kart, the girls wear these outfits on atvs and motorcycles cause dresses would be too hard to get the physics rightΒ and such

It would be interesting to see Zelda and Ganondorf playable in Mario Kart 8's newest DLC packs. Though to be honest it would be kinda weird to see Zelda in a skintight motorcycle suit like the other Princesses in the game.

yea you'd think they'd be a part of it, but like i said which zelda would they choose. being a colorful racing game and based on what i think is the version of link we see here, the only two possible zeldas would be skyward sword and maybe twilight princess, since tp zelda is the more recognizeable but she's also super serious. while SS zelda looks like the kinda girl who would race and stuff. though idk if she would even be okay in a skintight suit (and what color would she have? red? cause pink n blue are taken by peach and rosalina respectively)

Yeah Twilight Princess Zelda is more recognizable however I think Skyward Sword Zelda is best though her skintight suit could be white since well in Skyward Sword she mostly wore white throughout the entire game.
