This is Year 2012 about to give birth to year 2013 for 's contest about the begining of the new year.L'année 2012 se termine et va bientôt donner naissance à l'année 2013, c’était l'un des sujets du concours de avec un calendrier astrologique derrière (mais comme je sais pas du tout comment ça marche ces trucs là je doute qu'il indique une date proche du 31 décembre.)

Sure, but my practice is not perfect. Have you got a certain point I can help you with ?

For the legs, I'm incapable to draw a lady who stand and without a dress because of her knees.
For coloring, my technic (with pencils) is to color the contour with a color stronger than in the inside. Only use brown for the skin really light color if you want a pale skin stronger if you want her bronzed.
For the fold of fabric, you can put strong colors on the line and light on the middle.
The shadows are only a matter of intensity of colors.
To make something look transparent don't superpose the colors,take the color of your fabric and draw the sketch of what is behind with grey pen.
This is all I can tell you and I don't know what it worth, but the best thing you can do to improve is go look at what others are doing, good luck and I'm sure your going to improve quickly !
