RIP Carl Weathers. I started working on a separate Action Jackson piece before Carl passed, but afterwards I thought it would be a good idea to sort of redo the poster for the movie. I changed the way Vanity looked, because it's really all about an homage to him. The logo took a while to do, and actually took five layers to create from scratch. I debated on whether

(no pun intended) to have the grenade launcher-holding Jackson in the foreground or the back, but I think it makes a better composition with the "Action" version of Jackson in the front. We lost a good one with him. Apollo Creed, Dillon from Predator, and of course, Jericho "Action" Jackson, along with a host of TV and other film roles.
