Description
Colored version of this Spawn piece. Done in PS CC. Blurred the chains to simulate movement. Added flats, shading, and effects for the glow and the shine. Made the background completely in PS. I knew I wanted to make it seem like some level of hell or similar. The idea for the flames/lava came during the creation of the background. I wasn't really sure how I was going to do it. HELL YEAH, the finale is finished! Kudos on the way you were able to liven up SO MUCH of this picture here dude. Say again how proud someone like Todd would be to spot this sitting on the web.
Compliments to how immensely dark and red this all turned out. Only a true fan would have picked out such good details like making the metal feeling jagged and so damn sharp whilst keeping the nefarious vibe to even something like the cape and the bright red going into a much more sinister vibe.
The blips of undead green you throw in though are just flawless lad and you make sure to use them where it all counts. Of course with the eyes and as well with the right giving it a bit more of a brighter glow. Actually even the eyes have a bit of that brighter glow to them and kudos on knowing where to cut those effects and not make the image feel TOO bright and radioactive you could say, lol.
Props too on the background. Know you mentioned fire/flames but I also get a familiar hint of hell of course and the choice of the usage of orange and yellow works nicely so not to drown out all the more darker visuals present with Spawn. Also I can't help but eye the neat way the cape gets more darker as you move your eyes towards his black suit. Again, you need that dark feel of Spawn on every corner of him and big cheers from over for accomplishing that almost evil vibe going on here.
So much more could say here but already think made it clear enough how magnificent of a job you did here Reflex. Do give yourself a pat on the back dude, this is incredible. o0o

For real though, I was wondering if this would turn out to be as I hoped and I had some pleasant surprises, but I'm always humbled when I see the other interpretations of this character and start to second-guess. But I'm glad it has been enjoyed. I wanted to make sure what I didn't get with the lines, I made up for with the colors/lighting. As usual, thanks for noticing all the little details that I wonder if anyone else pays attention to. Maybe so, but you always point them out. I appreciate that. As always, I'm still trying to get my technique down to a science, and hoping to do a little better with each piece.

That was cool. Thanks. It would be cool to see a live-action of their battle. Still not sure who I would give the advantage to. Kratos has defeated gods. And Spawn's power is limited, but he has so many cool abilities. I think it would just depend on the day.
