Description
Out of the beasts used by Eternal Hunt, few are as gruesome as the needle snakes. These serpentine horrors are employed in order to capture the prey alive - although not nearly perfectly preserved. A needle serpent will stalk its prey relentlessly and stealthily, bursting into unusual speed when it is within reach. With its sharp snout and slender body, it will pierce the flesh of the unfortunate target multiple times, coiling around (and through!) their body. Next, the creature sheds its skin and retreats to safety as the skin (which is an extremely durable material) contracts binding and immobilizing the victim, to be captured and collected by the creatures' master that follows it closely.
