Okay then.  It was a game with an isometric view with 4 characters available a warrior with a spiked mace, a ninja, a sorceress and a farmer with a pitchfork. You walked around through levels slaying  hordes of monsters and fighting bosses at the end of each level. It had kind of medieval fantasy feel of the bosses I remember frost-breathing dragon the best.

Sounds a lot like Gauntlet, but that game doesn't have a farmer in it so sadly I got no idea. Do you remember what console was that game for?
