On the contrary, their latest one is the biggest pile of shite I've ever seen - un-textured, anatomically incorrect and just plain BAD poser art has no place on a Maiden album. Death to bad digital...

Hahaha, I only had a look last week. All I remember is 3D stuff that looked like it was made in Bryce. Which is odd since the lads from Iron Maiden are probably rich as hell.

i love the darkness in this, the eyes and the writing on the wall, very creepy dark and sort of gothic style, like the soft colors though still gives it that scary mood!

The colours got added at the last minute - I was just gonna leave it in shades of pale blue. On reflection, I'm glad I decided to colour it! I had a lot of fun drawing this.

Wow, thanks - glad you like it! I'm pleased with this pic, since it started off as a quick doodle, and I used no reference for it at all (unusually for me!). The lighting and anatomy aren't quite consistent, as it got changed a lot during the process...
