THIS ONE IS MY FAVOURITE.And it's also a market! Sort of. A corrupted version of one. I still feel a bit sorry about the two people who managed to talk to me during that one crazy day I was making this because I was all about how rotting fish are pretty. I didn't get too much sleep that day and around that time in general, but this thing made it fun. I still think rotting fish are nice though, in a really weird way. But yeah this is both my favourite piece I did for this project and favourite area of the city, because it's a freaking rotten FISHMARKET with a really INTENSE smell of dead fish and generally rotting things that hang just about everywhere. I wanna draw more of these.

Do people eat the rotting fish? Love the way you have drawn then, slumped around everywhere and the way their ribs are exposed, gross but interesting xD

I'm not even sure if they eat anything at all xD they've got masks and they don't take them off because there's not much under them so probably no, they don't need it. Though they probably don't realize that. And yesss the ribs, I love how ribs look. Or any other bones. I like bones

It'sssss a totally insane psychopath that also happens to be my most favourite npc there xD He has a very strong sense of aesthetics of fish and dead gross things and generally lacks respect for anything. He'll also probably attempt to straight up murder the player at one point even though none of the rulers is allowed to do that

Probably! Each of the rulers is allowed to shape their part of the city into whatever they want, so this one got gross (beautiful) rotting fish. I like to think that when he was alive ages ago he lived in some sort of tiny fisher village.

All the concept art about your city are wondefful, I'd like to live around here! Even if it's a corrupted version of the market, it looks really nice!
