Even after speaking with one of those dark wolves, nothing seemed to ease her growing concerns.
She couldn't understand why this was such a concern to her now. It had never bothered her before. She was never much one for appearances, but now, every time she saw her reflection, all she saw was him.

I finished this piece last month, but held on to it cause I wanted to add a lil 'ripple' effect to the water. I ended up getting a job around then and found myself with a little less free time than I used to. Perhaps I'll come back to this and add that lil snippet later, but for now I want to post this as is. I hope it tugs at your heartstrings just a bit cause this is just the beginning...
