Its a comic where the cheerleaders are upset that the football team they cheer for always gets beaten in the big games and hasn't one a championship for a long long time. So the girls in order to ensure a winning season drain the other teams players of their muscle. But, this also leads to some unforeseen challenges. Its a bit silly yes, but a whole lot of fun.

Do guys usually in muscle growth stories turn out to be jerks? Or just the usually enabler for muscle growth of women?

It's usually up to the personal preference of the person writing the story.

Well try, but from what I've seen, it's the majority of stories have male characters as the jerks.

If someone reads a story and notices a trope that makes sense to them, then it stands to reason that they would use it if they themselves came to write something. Which is sad really, because the whole 'male jerk gets strength drained' is a weak concept. It creates shallow stories and weak characters. But this is just my opinion on the subject, and I know a good few people enjoy these narratives so there is some appeal.

Well, I don't this story is a weak story. I did write it, but its well paced and again its meant to be fun. My goal when I make comics is to make as many different types as possible. Its like movies, I don't want to watch Citizen Kane everyday, sometimes I just want to watch something like Showdown in Little Toyko. Its okay to have fun. And your argument reminds me theΒ joke about Shakespeare. An adult just went to his first play when asked about it, he said he liked it, but that it had a lot of cliches in it. There was time when they were fresh and there is a reason why they get used frequently. Its all about the packaging of it. So please hold off Judgement till you read said comic. Its going to be fun.

I wasn't judging your story, I was judging the genre in which it was set which has more turkeys than masterpieces. And the Shakespeare comparison is a little spurious don't you think. There is a difference between criticism of a 16th century play and criticism aimed at fetish fiction.

I wasn't comparing myself to Shakespeare. I was just saying cliches exist for a reason. Go watch a western then. The genre hasn't really evolved since silent films and Errol Flynns Dodge City. I still enjoy watching westerns however. But, most have the same plotting. Doesn't make them less fun. Hell the Searches a classic western if there ever was one, ends basically on a Cavalry charge, can't get more cliche than that. Yet Ford makes it his own. That's my point. If I spent all my time trying to write original stories and worrying about what has been done before, I would be to scared to go anywhere and stan in place. Sometimes its best just to have fun with it.

Not all my stories the male characters are jerks. Some have both nice guys and jerks, and some are devoid of jerks entirely. The last occurrence is rare. But, I am trying to expand my type of stories and forgo the jerks get smashed by buff women. But, this comic is mostly that. But, its really a whole lot of fun, so I think that'll make up for that. Mr. Rocket has done a great job with the art on this one, and he knows just how to bring out the humor and absurdity of this comic. If this isn't an instant favorite by the people who read it, well I don't know why they would be reading it to begin with.

Well for this story I happen to be the writer on it, and I must say I prefer the dudes who are getting drained(this is an fmg story where the women get the muscles from draining men) to be jerks. Why should a nice guy be punished. For my stories I try to always reward people with sound morals, and the bad people get their comeuppance. To me its just more fun that way.
