Amazingly this scene took longer than the other one to finish. It was several days of watching Sailor Moon and opening sequences, then making that sign in Illustrator, then tracing Crystal Tokyo also in illustrator, doing several screen captures so I would have reference for Crystal Tokyo from SMR...

then creating layered smart objects.

I also created two new brushes for this project--one for the office windows, and one for the Crystal Tokyo windows. The mist and clouds are from a cloudy day brush from spyglass.net.

And wow, this has motion tween.

Oh, and I put a stopper on the animation. I used stop(); in the animation palate. Specifically... create where you want the stop with a new key frame, then with the new keyframe selected go to window-->actions. type in there stop(); and it will stop the movie for you...

I couldn't figure out how to separate the sequences, so I just left them together.

I'm kind of amazed that it looks a bit like the original anime... I'm just missing the music... and the credits.

After this I have school... relearning kana over again. *yawn*. So I won't be working on the third scene for a while.

Fan animation, original series belongs to Naoko Takeuchi and the various companies. The original style belongs to Ito Ikuko and the directing style to Ikuni (Ikuhara Kunihiko). (I did copy his opening sequence style).

Edit: Added a preloader screen and a play again screen. However, it still plays better on the second round. I also added a play button to the beginning of the scene.

Edit2: I took another day out to improve Scene 1. It should go faster this time. The animation should be slightly better. But mainly it's graphic quality.

Edit 3: I added a better preloader screen. I also cleaned up the sign so it's a true vector. Sad this took half a day of scripting and searching.
