Uraziel, spirit of the Ring of Solomon, from the Bartimaeus Trilogy.My roommate has me reading these books and I wish I'd read them sooner (they're genius). Regardless, I've enjoyed attempting to draw various characters, and this is my first real success.
Of a character... who really isn't much of a character... in a prequel... of a series I just started....
Regardless, I'd like to think the spirit would manifest as such at least once! Went with the colours of Lapis Lazuli, and a Lotus for Uraziel here.

I was considering black hair but I decided to go for something completely, well, inhuman to better denote how completely other-worldly he is.
Well that and the black wasn't showing the hair detail too well. 
I'm glad you like it though! I plan on adding more characters as soon as possible, and more sketches of Uraziel.
