Download for readable texts!I'm in love with the How to train your Dragon movie, so I had to draw myself a Night Fury.
***********************************
This is Omen. She's very playful, but that's why she can be very annoying, too.
She has some special fluorescent scales, that glow after sunset. With these special scales she loves to scare vikings at night. Her mouth marking looks like a smiling denture when glowing, that's why vikings usually call her "Smiling ghost".
Her most favourite meal is sheep, but she rarely steels from the vikings.
She has no rider (yet), because she's mistrustful to humans. So far only few vikings tried to tame her, but it was a failure.
Her favourite game is to annoy Hideous Zipplebacks. They're really funny, when the heads are tangled. :3

Can our OC Night furies be friends? She's tame to people but she gets lonely pretty easily. She needs a cool buddy to hang out with while her master goes off doing her own things at night and so on. I'm new to deviant art so I'm having a hard time getting other night furies to accept her. She's really awesome when you get to know her.

Something you are forgetting is that How To Train Your Dragon was full of cartoony characters that tended to have their appearance reflect their personality. So maybe a bit more of her personality should go into her appearance?

Well, I didn't want to change her "NightFuryness" so much. If you remember the end of the movie, when Hiccup comes out of the house, and looks around, there are tons of dragons in the village, and only the colours are different, (I saw a red Nadder on one of the roofs. :3 )or when Hiccup meets a pack of Terrible Terrors. One is green, another is orange etc.
That's why I only played with her colours a bit. I left her black, because I think a pink or red dragon can't be called a Night fury.
I think the smiling pattern on her mouth tells enough about her.

Yup yup, eveyone does have their own Nightfury these days. Though your glowey one is best and I can't draw worth anything, so I'll sit here and admire Omen for a while.

I was wondering, if her glowing scales would make her more... noticable to her prey, but than I thought: if she's fast enough, the last thing the prey notices is her claws.
