your painting really has good lighting vs shadow :] which one do you usually paint first, light or shadow? do you use masking fluid to preserve highlight?

Thanks for visit ...... It is watercolour so I paint from light to dark and leave paper for highest light. Yes, I use masking fluid but very little, sometimes I use white colour too, but I prefer to leave paper for light areas whenever possible
