Description
Vampire Lips tutorial. A little disclaimer:Β Keep in mind that is not a really detailed tutorial; Is more of a step by step, for people who already have some good knowledge about digital programs and how to work with them, so it's not a simple tutorial, for people who are getting started. But above all that, I hope I helped some of you in some way!
These lips are part of my next project; And you can probably tell that is going to be a vampire, but more specifically, inspired by the character Jessica Hamby from True Blood (love it love it love it)!
So I decided that since I'm going to do a pair of lips that are completely different from my last ones, why not make another tutorial? It seems that you really enjoy the last one, so I'll try my best to everytime I make a big project, I'll try to make a tutorial based on a little piece that belongs to that project, like, eyes, nose or like this one, lips, so you can have a little more help if you want to do something similar. Tell me if you like that idea, and I will certainly try my best!
Done with Paint Tool SAI.

I'm constantly on the look out for new tutorials--be they simple step-by-steps like this one, or detailed and exacting, or compilations of different techniques, brushes, etc. And I appreciate every one because they all help me to grow as an artist by trying new styles or techniques and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. So thanks so much for taking the time to make this <3
My only critiques are mostly stylistic; the highlights don't make a lot of sense anatomically, especially on the upper lip, and the lack of hard edges to balance out the soft ones leave the lips as a whole looking blurry.
However, please know I do honestly appreciate that you took the time and effort to make this so that people like me can enjoy it and learn from it.

Is this a male vampire or a female vampire?

Female; It's going to be part of my next project. Jessica Hamby from True Blood.
