I really really enjoy looking at other peoples sketchbooks and everytime I think, I should sketch more - I barely sketch at all! Yours, look wonderful, so dynamic and raw...my favs are page 31 and the lion on page 47.

Question! For the sketches like 35 and 37 did you go with an initial pencil sketch, or did you wing it with the marker from the start?

I wing it pretty much always. I rarely sketch beforehand because I don't usually have the patience for it. I'm pretty bad with sketches + lineart with digital art too. The lines always look wonky after deleting the sketch layer. :'' So I prefer making the lineart right away or then make the lines sketchy looking.
I also find it pleasant to draw with the marker from the start. And it's kinda good practice too, because you can't make mistakes and if you do, you have to make them work somehow!

Yeah that's definitely a healthy habit to have! I usually switch to that depending on moods hah, though i think I have to practice more with that for them to look somewhat appealing.
Is it sort of a subconcious thing that your hand is just used to all the lines in the correct places, or you do give a good think about what where you draw? (Probably sounds confusing whoops)
