Fan art of the game Journey! It's such a great and beautiful game, definitely one of my favorites of all time. Painting cloth was fun, but those markings or whatever were a bit challenging to do..I hope you like it! Oh and, if you haven't played Journey yet, do that RIGHT NOW!Β

You really captured the mood of the "ice chapter!" This immediately made me think of the part where the character has to fight against the wind and find one of those railed-off places before another blast comes and sends them tumbling back. Was that the scene you were thinking of when you drew this too?

Thanks! Haha, I based it actually on the "underground" scene, right when they drop down and the sand is really white from the light.
But it works like the ice chapter too, it seems! Now that you said it, I see it pretty clearly too hhaha

This is such a beautiful piece! Journey is an extraordinary game, and you really captured the feeling of it.
I remember my first time playing it, how emotional it was. I went through half the game with the same companion, and we explored everything together and always waited on the other. The final level was so harrowing, with both of us in tatters by the end of it, but we never left the other. We walked through the final mountain side by side.
I love that you chose the white cloak, showing the experience of your journeyer, but how his pose still conveys the difficulty of the journey, and the determination to see it through.
