Wow. This IS a masterpiece. Spooky paintings, charming cultured men, haunting atmosphere...ah, what more can I ask for lol. Seriously though, great lighting and shading, plus it all looks so realistic, its compelling. Love his expression and the whole concept of how the painter is a master of illusions. Fantastic work!

oh my gosh . . . amazing! i love how everything has a golden tone to it. the way you did this is very similar to pre-raphaelite works because of how smooth the blending is and the almost haunting feel of the painting. i love this! good job!
