This is just stunning! I love his relaxed, almost detached stance and expression as well as the juxtaposition of the warm, gentle colours and the threatening hands. His eye colour is a great contrast, too. Beautiful work!

This is not only extremely well painted, but both beautiful and creepy at the same time! The muted color palette lends itself to the era of the piece, and the fact that we cannot actually see what is on the canvas gives a great sense of mystery! Great piece!

this is absolutely beautiful. i am just stunned by it. You are really grand. the way the eyes glow but you don't notice them until you look closely. the bleeding of the colors like smoke or vapors. i would love to see this on a Magic the Gathering card. wow..... just wow.

This reminds me sooo much of Sario Grijalva in the novel The Golden key by Melanie Rawn, Jennifer Roberson, and Kate Elliott. I haven't read it in a long while, but seeing this image sends me off to dig it out again.... thanks!
