This is pretty amazing...the colors are wonderful and you're right, the barren and bleak background make him stand out more. I know he is a commission and all, but for some reason, I keep picturing him as Feanor from the Silmarillion. I've never really seen a satisfying picture that evoked that power and 'spirit of fire', but I think this is it. Sorry, I know this is a completely different elf/character, but great job on being to evoke those emotions
