I drew this a long time ago, but only now have I acctually gotten the guts to post it. Before anyone out there roasts me about this I'll say this in my defense.I do not believe that spanking children is a form of abuse. I was raised with them and I was never emotionally scarred and I DID turn out for the better. And incase anyone really weird starts to think this, no it's not sexual either. It's a daddy/daughter thing only
Now, about the picture.
Although Kira is normally a sweet little girl she is still a child and children are not PERFECT! She does have naughty streaks. what happened was she was out with Gambit and Jubilee when she saw someone she reconised from the night of her parents death. Without telling anyone where she was going (she would sigh them since she can't talk) she runs off from the two in a crowded area. It's only by pure luck that Logan finds her and by then he's pissed on the outside worried on the inside because he can smell Sabbertooth nearby.
Once he gets Kira back homee of course he's down right furrious because Kira refuses to tell him why she ran off.
I've always viewed Logan as a sort of strict father-like character for the younger Xmen members. After all, no one wants to make him mad, and Kira doesn't know how to control her powers as of yet so she's both dangerous and vulnerable to the outside world.
So yeah, like it, or not, I leave that to you.

As long as it's clear why you're getting a spanking, then I see no harm in it. It was a punishment for me, never abuse and even at four I knew the difference

I was usually in an enviroment which wasn't so advanced that I'd really act up so much and slowly matured step by step.

I wrote a CP fic for Lock, Shock, and Barrel from TNBC (not sure if your familiar with it) and someone on fanfiction said that they thought it was abuse. But it honestly wasn't! I was spanked when little and I'm just fine.

I totally agree that spanking is not a form of abuse. My dad spanked me and my siblings when we were kids and it kept up from repeating behavior that would have gotten us in more trouble had we been caught my the police! (Yes, some things were that bad!) Anyway, great picture!!!

Spanking a kid isn't abuse, it's discipline. The only time it's abuse is if you're spanking them with a sword (or something that causes injuries). But my parents used a belt and it still scares the hell outta me. lol I don't like all this fuss about not spanking your children b/c it might cause emotional confusion & disorders. lol Everyone in my family got spanked and we're just fine (we're all crazy, but we're all fine trust me lol).

half and half. Kids aren't normally neat, but she's being put to bed right after her spanking for a nap.She's not very old after all. As for the rainbow suit it's her pjs. From what I've seen, the more clor on it the happier kids are for their clothes.

i really appreciate you had the courage to put this up, i have a few of these i did myself, although not as skillful! I didn't put them up partially because i was worried that people in the city i live in the uk, who routinely didn't grow up with spankings wouldn't understand, i was spanked and it truly didn't do me any harm at all, i'm a student at one of the best unis in the world now and i'm also a pacifist to boot 
but it is true and has to be said, although it doesn't truly relate to your piece, that spanking if done must be done right...

My childhood and because my friend Jem said that if Kira really managed to get Logan to like her and pull some dangerous stunt, he would probably spank her so that she wouldn't do it again. I agree that spankings can be done without scarring children and without being abusive, it's just a lot of parents don't seem to know how to do it right. My dad for instance >.< But yeah even the best behaved child isn't perfect and once in a while needs some discipline. ^^

Yeah a spanking is not unreasonable as long as that's not your MAIN form of discipline and as long as it's done in a loving manner and not out of anger. SO many 'spankings' turn into abuse because the parent is angry at the time. my dad was pissed at me when I was ten one time (my parents divorced and got back together when I was around ten) and I not only had to go get his belt but stand there while he hit me repeatedly on the buttocks with it until his anger had cooled down. Kept finding new reasons for it that were unrelated to why I was in trouble in the first place. I had bruises later. But my mom was different about them.

My mom used her hand, my dad only used his hand once he never really ever had a good reason to spank me. He just thought I deserved it from time to time I guess. The only one who's spankings ever taught me anything were my mom's. She did it the right way.
