Haha, Starfox can be hard to draw. I should know, I somehow got roped into designing and drawing pretty much everything for a Starfox Collab on NG. :/

not a huge fan of what they did to the franchise. star fox 64 was great, but when they made dinosaur planet and introduced krystal, ugh. game over fox.

i like the way falco looks. you're getting better at drawing in some cases, but the colors i think are seriously too normal. in other words: it's in outer space, there should at least be some kind of other light source. this is a painting, so you gotta go out of your comfort zone with colors. they're in the exact same lighting as they would be in a normal room. experiment with different warm and cold colors. im no amazing artist but when i started fucking around with my lighting and changing shit up i got better results and i got more positive feedback.
two more nitpicks: the stars are too evenly spaced out. look up at the night sky for roughly a half hour if you ever go to any city that isn't new york (unless you can see the sky in ny, i dunno ive never been there) and try to redraw it when you do space backgrounds. secondly, the ship in the background is too basic. it's a massive ship, surely it should have more to it than just 4 basic cel-shaded colors.
and i'll stress it again, this painting needs way more interesting colors. this painting could be balls-out AMAZING if you did more with colors and lighting and contrast but instead it looks like anything else i've seen you create. to be completely honest dude you're pigeonholing yourself to one trick: snazzy clean-looking movie-like character portraits. but now that you've learned that trick, change shit up. experiment with new stuff. it'll make you happier, no lie
