Description
This was one I was sitting on for AGES. This was another print I was selling at conventions, finished it back in August.

So I hadn't drawn all of these characters for years. I used to draw them pretty frequently in Elementary school, but never tried with the skills I have now. I specifically wanted to do the Z Fighters and main characters from the first story arc of "Z". I tried to really differentiate all of their traits, specifically with facial expressions and differences in color. All of them have slightly different skin colors and even Goku, Yamcha and Krillin/Kuririn's gi's are a little different as well.

I tried to make all of the special effects on the Ki techniques different as well. Goku's Kamehameha I stuck with the traditional blue beam-look, Gohan's Flying Nimbus/Kinto'n I think stayed pretty true to its original look, Krillin/Kuririn's Kienzan I tried to give a nice swirl to, Yamcha's just doing his Wolf Fang Fist, Tienshinhan's got the Kikoho which I gave a green "laser"-esque quality to and Chaotzu's using an itty-bitty Dodompa. The old "gang" in the Capsule Corp. ship were a little tricky, but I like how they turned out. The Saiyan duo I'm not totally happy with, but making Vegeta (as well as Goku) very animalistic with their screaming was pretty fun.

Still keeping up with Kai as it airs on Nicktoons and trying to pick up the uncut releases on DVD. Dragon Ball was a huge influence on me so working on this, spread across two giant pieces of paper that I scanned and crossed together, was a fun little venture.
