I'm quite certain that I am the first to point out that your sword is has a double-edged blade with the hilt of a ninjato, which is a rather odd combination.

Good eye. I had just assumed that it had one bladed side from the curve and hilt, but when I look closer, it really does have two.
Odd as that may be, it'd be a pretty cool sword. Not, strictly speaking, very practical, but quite serviceable for slaughtering chairs.

A ninjato isn't curved, nor is the sword in this picture; otherwise I would have compared it to a katana. A ninjato is a single-bladed straight-edged sword with a straight hilt.
