-THE ORIGINAL-
"Grounder" and T-Bones were very close to being the same in the original. Their designs were based on characters from Pokemon, turned into armor-like suits for the players to wear. Granda and T-Bones' Vietnamese and Scottish origin, respectively, were also both intact. They were interesting in concept, but not used very often throughout the story aside from their eventual involvement with Season 2's big finale.
-THE NEW-
For TOME, I kept their racial-origins and tried to cast them appropriately as well. Their dynamic was interesting enough to begin with, but I wanted to make better use of it and spice things up for the characters. T-Bones, being the older one, made for a good level-headed big guy that tries to keep an eye out for Granda and play alongside her. I decided to make Granda very loud and violent in nature, mainly for the sake of comedy as it made for some really funny scenes between her and Nylocke, who she's fixated on due to her constant losses from him. I imagine her being relatively chilled out when playing with T-Bones, but otherwise doesn't care enough to hold herself back; her rage is almost a sign of her actual enjoyment. I don't so much view Granda as a statement of "video games make kids more violent" or anything preachy like that, but rather that she represents people who are completely unbridled in their opinions and actions online because they feel like it's not important enough to affect their real life. Because of this, Granda feels no repercussions for her actions. T-Bones is more the type to apologize, even on someone else's behalf, as he feels a sense of responsibility to everyone around him, even though it's just a game. The two balance each other out nicely.

The only Scottish character in the show... And he's a T-rex. Scotland rocks. #proudtobeascot

I like what you did with T-Bones design, but I obviously can't form a concrete opinion on him yet because he's only appeared in one scene. I like how he and Granda balance each other out, though.

Glad to see these two back again.
For some reason, it seemed like they were brother and sister, or uncle and niece back in the original series. Might've been the lack of voice acting to show stronger contrast. I guess they're just friends here?

Ah, he was definitely one of my favourite characters from the original characters, along with Granda. I like the new personality he has that balances with Granda's.
