OMG SPOILERS. Eh, not at this point really. Now, Voltarius was not only an idea made just for the flash movies, but he was also a last minute decision, in a way. Back in the OLD Season 1 episodes I was going to just go with him being reffered to as 'sir' or 'commander' or 'leader' etc etc, and talks to the hackers with NO image of him whatsoever, until he reveals himself as Zetto. Then I ended up giving him an actual name. "Voltarius" is a play on the Philosopher, Voltaire, who I believe was constantly talking about freedom of speech, and the irony was that in the early episodes he constanly beats on the hackers for 'typing bad' or 'not speaking properly...yeah. I ended up sort of tossed out that idea since I ended up screwing myself over with the typing and the speaking through microphones aaaand yeah...but anyway. I also wasn't planning on giving "Voltarius" an actual form, until I saw the "I beat Megaman Zero 4 in like, 2 hours!" movie from a Megaman site, and saw the battle with Dr. Wiel. I thought it was pretty cool and that his typical Japanese screaming of attacks was 'inspiring' I guess you could say, and decided to add the battle with him to Episode 56, since just a battle with Simdragon would've been too short of an episode (and I was already pushing it as much as possible with Demon Simdragon). So, all of Voltarius' sound clips and attacks are all based on Dr. Wiel. That's about all I can say. The actual character design is based on that of "Dark Elf Leviathan", and originally he was going to be made with sprites, until I said "wow...these suck". His body was a recolored Dark Elf Leviathan, and his arms were both made from the fighter Golems that were in a few of the MMZ games. Then I decided to just draw his parts and make him trinamic like T-Bones and Grounder. That's about all I can say...aside from the fact that this pic SUCKS. The next one will be better, sorry x_x;
