I was thinking about the quote Finn said at the end of that episode, and thought "I can see Patrick saying something like that." Then I thought of how it would be able to fit with the ending from "Pressure." And this happened.

Another reason why wanted to make this is to see how well I could imitate the look of the backgrounds on the show. I'm pretty pleased with the result...I don't really care for how the shape of the coral(?) came out, but I do like how the brushes gave it the texture I was going for. ^^ My flowers came out kinda ooogly, lol. xD

At first, I was going to hold off on the background and attempt to create it with PhotoShop Elements or another program that came with my tablet to give it more of a painterly feel, but I just wanted to finish everything up in GIMP. I had the original drawing done since April and I had finally started tracing over it earlier last month or a month before. It was only one page and it was taking waaaaay too long to complete the final version. The other programs are on my mom's laptop since my computer won't read the CD they're on for some reason...I didn't feel like going through all that if I could just try it out in GIMP...maybe some other time...

I have another Adventure Time based comic in the works and it's going to be much longer than this. Let's see how long THAT'LL take me.
