It's done in SFM, actually! It might be a little hard to tell, though, I'm not that good yet.

I wish I knew how to use SFM. Its interface is sooo confusing

I admit it did take me a few days for me to get even remotely effective with it's interface. It's daunting at first, but once you get the basics of it down, you can experiment from there relatively easily.
It does crash on occasion, though.

Just look up how to move the models and such (the creators of source filmmaker have a bunch of videos on Youtube about controls and stuff)

Check the top left corner, it should say "Animation Set editor"
Click on that if it isn't already selceted.
Then you should see a "+" button just underneath the tab. Click on that, and it should give a drop down list to add new models, particles, etc.

How do you feel about Iffy and Compa? (In case you wonder why, Nepgear and Uni are tied for my favorite, and Iffy and Compa are tied for my second favorite.)

I like Iffy a lot, she's definetely up there for my favourites. Compa is okay, but she doesn't really rate that highly to me. I just don't think she stands out too much.
My favourite characters are Blanc, Uzume and Tekken.
