That happened to me. I immediately researched how to spare her, reloaded my save, and spared her. Then I saw Flowey and this more or less happened.
I know what you did. You murdered her!
Yeah, I killed Toriel then reloaded to spare her. What are you gonna do about it?
Of course, I didn't fully process the magnitude of what had happened. When I did, I got scared thinking Flowey would "set things right" by killing Toriel himself. Thankfully, that didn't happen.
