Link had quite an adventure down in the valleys of the Hymettus mountains. After luring Astaroth to the bridge that connected the mountains, the boy used his magic to severely injure the golem and destroy the bridge as well to finish the monster off completely. With no means of saving himself, Link fell along with the golem to his grave below.

However, in the midst of his descent, he was tempted to survive – he had realized that there was still much to be done. He could not die just yet! The Hylian gathered his remaining magic and cast a weak barrier in hopes of surviving.

An uncertain amount of time had passed when he finally came to. Upon waking up, Link had found himself ill and injured with hardly any memory of what had happened. The presence of a strange-looking Lizardman didn’t really help.

At first, Link had feared it to be an enemy but soon learned that it was not like the other Lizardmen. In fact, the weird, feathered reptile had saved him. If it weren’t for the kind-hearted beast, Link had known that he would have died from his injuries. Weakened, the boy had to rely on the Lizardman for support and protection.

Astaroth was still somehow alive and his minions were scouring the valleys for the boy.

Armed with only his Kokiri sword and a near-empty quiver, Link could not fight any enemy single-handedly – not that he would want to. He and his companion had managed to hide from Astaroth and his troops for a few days but was caught by an Elite during their escape through the valleys. Lizard, the name Link had given his friend, fought valiantly against the large fire-breathing beast and succeeded in defeating it. However, Lizard was wounded from the battle and required time to rest.

The two had reached the end of the valleys but were caught by a group of patrolling Lizardmen. Surrounded by the scaly beasts, Link and Lizard had nowhere to run. With no choice but to fight, Lizard engaged in battle against the enemy Lizardmen and sustained numerous injuries before facing against Astaroth whom soon arrived after the two were found.

Too weak to battle, Lizard was defeated instantly, leaving Link to jump in and confront the golem. Once more the Hylian faced the muscled brute and once more he was willing to keep the monster from causing any more harm. With magic at his disposal, Link was able to keep the golem at bay and even causing some pain. Before the golem’s minions could attack the boy upon Astaroth’s command, the boy managed to succeed in casting a spell that teleported him and his injured friend to safety…

Status information: Link

Age: 18 but physically 8

Likes: making every bad situation into a good one in whatever way he can; keeping his companions safe; mocking his enemies; playing around when the situation called for it.

Hates: Astaroth and his troops (especially Elites); falling ill; thieves; being called an "elf"; having no bow.

Weapons: Kokiri Sword and a quiver with a few arrows.

Specialty: Link can use magic; Magic arrows - Fire, Ice, Light and the magic given to him by the Goddesses: Farore's Wind, Din's Fire, Nayru's Love. The power of the Goddesses' spells can be increased if he exerts all of his magic energy into them. Of course, doing so drains him of all magic and he will be unable to cast another spell for a while.

Personality: Since Link's in an 8 year old body, he feels and acts just like one despite knowing he's really 18 years old. He is considered to be very naive and light-hearted by Siegfried, which is actually true. Link does not mind being treated as a child and he would rather make every situation seem fun and not serious. But if the situation was dangerous, he would confront it bravely and maturely.
Often, he would play out as a younger sibling to Siegfried not only to get by looking "normal" to the inhabitants of the new world but also to pester Siegfried.

Currently, he is only with Lizard.

Link still has his green tunic, it's under the adult-sized tunic that Lizard had "borrowed" a little while back. He lost his boots during the fall - barefeet are rather hard to draw... And his hat? Cassandra has it with his other things.)
