These concept pictures are for a children's book I have to write for school. Sadly, this style is a failure. As much as I like it, I need to use bolder colors. The gecko belongs to me.Related content

once, i tried to clear a gecko out of my garage and no-one told me they could make noises.
it hissed at me and i screamed and ran into the next roon before i remembered that their pretty much harmless.

What tool did you use for the coloring? It looks very much like water color and I like it~

I don't think this style is a failure either. If you have to use bolder colors, well I think that would work perfectly with geckos anyway. Aaaand I've seen kid picture books with soft colors.

I really like the shading and effect. And the colors look bold enough to me....
