Thanks-- That's made my mind up -- I was hovering between the canon 30d and other nikons.. =--- It's a beautiful capture -- I looked at the canon 400d that everyoner seems to be rushing out buying but it's no where near the quality of the nikon d200 - I know they're different class but Obviously worth the money..what's the battery life like?

I have handled both!! the 400d feels like a toy compared to the D200, it is indeed different class and you won't be afraid to over use it cause it is built like a tank!! it is a bit on the heavy side but I don't mind!!

the battery lasts for like 250 NEF, but I am using VR lenses and that take up more juice!!
