Description
This started out as a pencil sketch when I was waiting between flights in an airport somewhere.

I was remembering the previous trip I had been on. I had lived in a small village called San Marcos in Guatemala for 6 months. I really loved it and it had been quite hard for me to leave. I think this sketch was done about a year after I had left Guatemala and I found myself still reflecting on my time there.

Sometimes when I closed my eyes I could almost imagine myself still there by Lake Atitlan. In some ways it is a self portrait, but in others its just an expression of how I was feeling in the moment.
