Description
Full view please! This is the revised version of the windmill piece for 'Amelia's Magazine'. The theme for submissions is 'A positive Future'.
I've chosen the theme of wind farms as this subject has been quite topical in my corner of the world for the last couple of years. I fully support wind energy and I believe we should all embrace alternative sources of power.

Great,, I think it looks great,, there is much more depth now. The position or size of the girl still bothers me a little bit, but don't mind me, I'm too picky sometimes.

hi kirrily you have got a challenge there - i personally like to see a figure within a wider context than you have shown here, so I would make the figure smaller than the small one.
i like the concept of "a better, fresher and cleaner and happier place" - "fresh", "clean" to me means green or blue or both - were you considering these?
i think the windmills could work very well and look forward to see how you handle them - they need some variety and depth, as well as cohesion!!

Thanks Adam! I'm leaning towards the smaller figure also. My only reason for having her larger was to highlight her content expression.
Good point about the fresh and clean, I don't like to make my works to bright, but it's definitely something to consider and play around with. I have been playing with the windmills and it's a challenge! Depth is certainly something lacking in this initial concept, and I'm enjoying the challenge of working it out... watch this space and thanks so much for the feedback!

i think i like the second one. it seems to put more emphasis on the back ground for me. seems more ballanced

I like the first one with the smaller figure.. maybe even smaller would be better.
maybe work a little bit the windmills so the image seems to have more depth.. maybe more contrast in some of them,, or some biger than others...
I really like the concept, and it actually looks good , I would just play with those elements.
just my opinion
good luck, show us the results
