This time we can greet dark-typed Maxie~
I think he might be - out of all my trainer-type designs - the Maxie with the shortest hair.

What can I tell you this time... hm.

Maxie is the bouncer of a club. He is actually from a good home or more like a rich family. But he hadn't any interest in becoming the heir of his fathers company. Thats because his parents was always more interested in his grades as in himself. He wants to find his own way to live and often starts fights in form of Pokemon battles.
Maxie is a good cook and even if he doesn't look like it he keeps his little apartment tidy. He cares much for his Pokemon which he sees as his true family.
Besides that he likes hot or spicy food~

Maxie is belligerent, uninterested, distrustful, uncommunicative and doesn't like to be rebuked. What he really wants is to tests his own abilities and to show that he can live on his own without any help.
Towards his few friends Maxie is very loyal and friendly, to help them he would do mostly everything.

When Maxie was around 17 or 18 years old he picked up his Houndoom when it was still a litlle puppy as an Houndour. The Houndour was abandoned when he found it and so he tooked it at his home. At this time Maxie lived still with his parents but the relationship between them wasn't very good at this time anymore. As his parents forbade him to keep the little Pokemon for reasons like that he would be distracted by it and they were just worried about his grades and future study it was enough for Maxie. He broke with his family and took Houndour with him beginning a new life. Houndoom is very loyal to Maxie and is the leader of the team. Even if looking a bit grim it is very gentle with the younger Pokemon of the group.

Absol could be depicted as a guide. It senses disasters which are sometimes caused by his trainer. That's why Absol tries to smoothen things when it comes to an argument between his trainer and someone else. Because of that he doesn't always takes orders from Maxie if it thinks that his trainer is not in the right or does something he shouldn't do.
Absol tries his best to get Maxie back on the right path. Besides that Absol is friendly, helpful and calm.
